This week I was proud to join the Haringey Walk for Women — a powerful and inspiring event bringing our community together to stand against violence against women and girls (VAWG).

It was moving to walk alongside residents, campaigners, local organisations and colleagues, all united in calling for safety, respect and equality for every woman and girl in our borough 💜.
These events matter. They show that as a community we are not willing to stay silent, look away or accept harm as inevitable. We walk together, we stand together, and we fight together — for a safer Haringey and a future built on dignity and equality for all 💪🏼🙌🏼.

If you’d like to get involved in local VAWG initiatives or learn more about the borough’s work on this, please check out the links below or we’re always happy to share more information.
