This is huge news for Hornsey!

.

A brand new Neighbourhood Health Centre is coming to Hornsey — bringing better, faster healthcare right to residents’ doorsteps and serving people across Hornsey, Crouch End, Wood Green and across Haringey. 🙌

This is part of the Labour Government’s long-term plan for the NHS — shifting care closer to where people live, with a real focus on prevention, early support, and easier access. Put simply: better healthcare, closer to home, when you need it.

And it will make a real difference. More local appointments, faster access to care, and services designed around residents’ lives — not the other way round.

Over time, these centres will go even further. Alongside healthcare, they’ll bring together wider support like debt advice, employment help, family services and voluntary sector organisations — all under one roof and open 12 hours a day, six days a week. 🕒

This didn’t happen by accident. Haringey is the first borough in North London to be selected for a neighbourhood health centre — and that reflects the work that’s been done over recent years to build a council that is trusted, collaborative and ambitious.

It also shows what’s possible when you have a Labour council working hand-in-hand with a Labour Government. 🌹🤝

We’re really proud that Hornsey is at the heart of this — and we’ll keep working to make sure residents get the full benefit of this investment.

A big step forward for local healthcare — and for our community. 💪
