A new proposal for The Lotus Building has been submitted, bringing forward plans for new student housing, commercial space, and public realm improvements in Hornsey.

7 Tottenham Lane is known as the birthplace of Lotus cars; the site where Colin Chapman and his friends began building and helped shape the post-war development of motor racing and achieving great success in F1.

This is an important development for our area, and we want to make sure residents have their say.

As your Hornsey councillors, Dana, Elin, and I have been actively following this proposal. We’ve:

🏗 Visited the site to understand the potential impact on the local area

📐 Met with the architects to hear about the vision for the development

🏛 Engaged with council officers to ensure the community’s interests are represented

We’ll continue to monitor the progress of this proposal and make sure local concerns are heard.
