In every corner of our borough, there are people quietly going above and beyond to make Haringey a better place – supporting neighbours, building community, and standing up for what’s right. Often, they do it without recognition. But now, we have a chance to shine a light on those everyday heroes.

To mark 60 years of the London Borough of Haringey, the Mayor, Cllr Sue Jameson, has launched the Haringey at 60 Heroes Awards – and nominations are now open!

Whether it’s the person running the food bank, a local youth worker keeping young people safe and inspired, someone who organises community events, a teacher who goes the extra mile, or a friendly face who always looks out for others – this is your chance to say thank you.

We know from our work as councillors just how many brilliant people are making a difference in Hornsey every day.

Let’s make sure they get the recognition they deserve.

Submit your nomination today!

Nominations are open until 6th April – it only takes a few minutes to submit someone’s name, and you can do so here:

Let’s celebrate the people who make Haringey special. Who’s your Haringey Hero?

Promoted by Moya O'Rourke on behalf of Dana Carlin, Adam Small, and Elin Weston, all at 28 Middle Lane, N8 8PL.
