Residents may wish to note that a Licensing Review has been activated for the premises currently operating as North Eight, formerly known as the Hornsey Tavern on Hornsey High Street.
This process is being carried out under the Licensing Act 2003, and is now open for public representations.
Anyone – including local residents, businesses or community groups – may submit a representation for or against the current licence arrangements, provided it relates to one or more of the four licensing objectives:
The prevention of crime and disorder
Public safety
The prevention of public nuisance
The protection of children from harm
Full details of the review, and information on how to make a representation, can be found on Haringey Council’s website here:
Please respond to licensing@haringey.gov.uk. The deadline for submitting representations is Tuesday 15th April.
Once the consultation period has ended, the matter will go before a Licensing Sub-Committee for consideration.
If you live near the venue or have an interest in this application, I’d encourage you to read the materials and, if you wish, have your say.
