We’re currently consulting on two related policies aimed at making Haringey’s neighbourhoods safer, stronger, and more harmonious. This is your chance to read the proposals and share your views before Thursday 2 October 2025.

🚫 Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Policy

This draft policy applies to all Haringey residents, businesses and visitors.

It explains:

  • How the council will respond to anti-social behaviour in public spaces 🏞️

  • The approach we take as a social landlord to tackle ASB in the homes and neighbourhoods we manage 🏠

  • Our overall commitment to creating safe and respectful communities across the borough 🤝

🏘 Good Neighbourhood Management Policy

This policy applies only to Haringey Council tenants and leaseholders.

It covers situations that don’t meet the threshold for ASB intervention, but which can still affect quality of life. Examples might include noise, parking disagreements, or low-level disputes.

The policy sets out how the council will:

  • Encourage positive neighbourly relationships 🌸

  • Provide residents with the advice and tools to resolve differences themselves 🛠️

  • Manage estates in a way that promotes fairness, respect and shared responsibility 🙌

📅 How to Respond

The consultation is open until Thursday 2 October 2025.

Please take a few minutes to read the policies and complete the surveys linked in each document. Your feedback will help shape how we tackle ASB and manage neighbourhood relationships in Haringey!
