I was delighted to join young people from St Paul’s Primary School this week, who worked with TCV to sow the first seeds for a brand-new wildflower meadow at the entrance to the Penstock Tunnel.

The enthusiasm and energy from the children were infectious — they really threw themselves into the planting!
Alongside Cllr Peray Ahmet and Cllr Ruth Gordon, we also helped plant the new informal play area, which will bring colour, nature and life to this much-loved walking route.

It’s always inspiring to see local children involved in shaping their environment — and we can’t wait to watch this space come into bloom over the coming months. 🌸🌿
