We’re thrilled to share that the children’s playground in Priory Park has had a big revamp — and it’s already buzzing with families! 👨👩👧👦✨
On 25 July 2025, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Cllr Emily Arkell, joined Hornsey ward Cllrs Dana Carlin and Adam Small, and Cllr Cressida Johnson from Crouch End, to cut the ribbon on the brand-new play area. ✂️🎀
🛝 What’s new
The £100k worth of upgrades include:
♿ Accessible play equipment for children of all abilities
🧗 Two multi-use climbing and play units
🌀 Obstacle course fun
🍎 Two new picnic benches for family time
🎨 Play panels designed by local pupil Alexandra, with butterflies 🦋 and the inspiring phrase: “Be who you want to be”
🤸 A springer, a trampoline, and of course… the zipwire 🚀
